‘Stranger Things’ is based on a photo out my back garden in beautiful Bay Estate. There was a very apocalyptic sunset one Winter evening accompanied by some twinkling out door lights. I love the strangeness of the contrast between the striking energy and power of the sky and the structure and sameness of suburban housing estates.
