Day 17 ‘Portal to the Past’ framed

180.00

‘Portal to the Past’ explores a cobwebbed corner of intrigue featuring the Child of Prague. This quiet windowsill remains encapsulated in time. The delicate glow of sunlight brings some life to the scene. It is based on one of the many nooks and crannies at Greywood Arts Residency in Cork. I also have a particular affinity with Child of Prague statues. When I was little I once, very unfortunately, decapitated one by using a skipping rope indoors.

Watercolour, acrylic and pen on paper

Framed 25.3×29.2cm
