‘Watertower’ print

I painted this during a residency at the Tyrone Guthrie Centre in Monaghan, Ireland. It was inspired by the enchanting scenery around the grounds and the water tower overlooking the lake. To me the tower represents seclusion and protection and echoes fairytale imagery.
